Insightful theme based celebration of World Tourism Day 23 culminated at Anjuman I Islam’s CHTMS&R on September 27th 2023.
Renowned Resource Person Dr Niralee Shah braced the occasion and familiarised our enthusiastic students about the topic of “Tourism and Green Investments”
Her case study based interpretation prowess kept the students engaged throughout.
Dr Niralee Shah also humbly handed over her self authored book “Indian Etiquette- A Glimpse into India’s Culture” this one’s a must read.

On August 11th 2023, Anjuman-I-CHTMS&R’s Department Of Hospitality Studies hosted an inspiring pep-talk by renowned celebrity Chef Shipra Khanna, winner of Masterchef India Season 2.
Chef Shipra shared her culinary journey, emphasizing gender equality in the field. Her statement, “Hospitality is not just an industry; it is a feeling,” resonated strongly with everyone. The event made an indelible impression on the students, motivating them to aspire higher in their culinary pursuits.

Anjuman I Islam’s CHTMS&R – Department of Hospitality Studies had organized a special seminar based session for the Food Production specialization students of TYB.Sc HS with Chef Apurva Panchal. Aim of the session was to familiarize students with Indian Food: Modern Techniques and sustainability in the foreign markets” Unique feature of this event was interactive nature, rich contemporary information about myriad aspects of presence and popularity of Indian Food abroad.
Anjuman I Islam’s CHTMS&R – Department of Hospitality Studies had organized a special seminar for our TYB.Sc (HS) students on “Coffee – History, types and service – Careers in Coffee Industry” on 4th August 2023 at 2:00 pm in our College Auditorium.
Session was led by Mr Mikhil Sharma –HRBP and jointly conducted by the Third Wave coffee executives namely;

Aim of the session was to familiarize students with different careers avenues in the Coffee Sector and the history of coffee. Unique feature of this event was interactive nature; rich contemporary information about Coffee and the hand held training imparted by the Third Wave team that kept the students engaged with the topic while further simulating their curiosity.
